Glenda F. Young, 72, passed away on February 27, 2014. She was born the only child to Willie James Kindles and Earlie Mae Tate Kindles on October 18, 1941 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Glenda received her early education in Fort Worth, Texas. She earned a Bachelor's degree from Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas. It was at TSU where she would meet her future husband, Wallace R. Young, Jr. Glenda and Wallace were joined in holy matrimony on December 19, 1965. Together they had two children, Vickie and Victor.

Glenda began her early married life as a devoted stay at home mother. She would later work for many years as a customer service
supervisor for Erisa Administrative Services. Glenda was a loyal and dedicated friend who touched the hearts of many but above all else she was a woman who loved God and her family. She lived her life with courage, strength and determination. She was loved dearly and will be truly missed.

Glenda is preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 47 years, Wallace R. Young, Jr. Glenda is survived by her children - Victoria Milhouse (Dun) and Victor Young Sr. (Tenika). Grandchildren - Victor Jr, Brittani, Tyquisha, Dun Jr. and Ja'Rohn Jr. Mother-in-law - Maud Young, 90. God-children - Brandon and Brian Caldwell along with a host of very special cousins, relatives and friends.
