Sarah Nell moved to Monahans, Texas in 1945 and graduated from Monahans High School in 1946. In 1947 she began nurses training at St Edwards School of Nursing in Fort Smith Arkansas, after graduating she went to Wrangell, Alaska. Where she worked as a nurse in a hospital for 1 year before entering the Air Force in May of 1952. Sarah served for 21 years in the United States Air Force and was stationed all over the globe. For two years she was stationed in the Philippine Islands flying in and out of Vietnam. She then volunteered to spend a year on the ground at Da Nang air base. Sarah retired as a Lt Col in January 1973 to Medina, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ras D Graham and Carrie Viola Graham. Five siblings: Evelyn Anderson, Carrol K. Graham, Vance Dee Graham, Anabelle G. Lowry and Harold D. Graham.
