Mrs. Vance C. Mann, 67, of Salem died last night. She is survived by four children, Mrs. Mildred Hall, Mrs. Lawrence Smith, John and Ed Mann, all of Salem; three brothers. William C. Harris, Charleston, W. Va.; Neil Harris, Fairfax, Minn.; Elbert Harris, Wytheville; five sisters, Mrs.Edna Cline, Minnesota; Mrs. Charles Rogers and Mrs. Sidney Ellis, both of Pulaski; Mrs. Julia Vialle, Philadelphia, and Mrs. W. L. Crowder, Wytheville. Funeral arrangements have not been completed. [Published in the Southwest Times 17 Sep 1957]
