Mrs. Ruby R. Liles was born to the late Jonah and Mary Artis on March 30, 1933 in Elm City, North Carolina.
She was educated in the Elm City Public Schools. She attended Piney Grove FWB Church for 22 years, before moving her membership by the leading of the "Holly Spirit" to Suggs Christian Temple. She served faithfully on the Mother Board, Chior and where ever she was needed. She retired from Export Leaf Tobacco Co. after 54 years.
