Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 409 2nd Avenue NE, Aberdeen, with Father J. Joseph Holzhauser, Celebrant. Burial follows at St. Mary's Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at the mortuary, with a Liturgical Wake Service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation continues for one hour prior to Mass at the church on Wednesday.
Christine Margaret Bundschuh was born on May 13, 1923, to Katherine (Heintz) and John Krumm in Bowdle, South Dakota. At the age of six months, she moved with her family to Aberdeen, where she attended St. Mary's Catholic School and Central High School. Upon graduating from high school, Christine attended and graduated from Aberdeen Business College. She found employment in Washington, DC with the Department of Agriculture and was employed there from 1942 until 1946. Upon returning to Aberdeen, she was employed for two years by Socony-Vacuum Oil Company in Aberdeen. She was later employed with Bureau of Indian Affairs from 1962 until her retirement in August of 1980.
Christine married Edward Bundschuh on June 22, 1948. They made their home in Aberdeen and Minot, North Dakota and shared over 37 years of marriage before her husband died on January 3, 1986.
Christine was a member of National Catholic Society of Foresters and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.
She is survived by one son, William Bundschuh; one daughter, Barbara Daberkow; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one brother, Andrew Krumm; one sister, Marion Egly; one grandson, Ryan Daberkow; one great-grandson, Colten Bloom; and one great-granddaughter, Morgan Krattenmaker.
