My Great-Grandmother; born & raised in Quebec, Canada, the daughter of William Cowan. She married Charles N. Emerson (8/2/1892) & they settled in East Boston, Massachusetts. After her husband retired from the railroad, the Emersons settled with their daughter, Mildred Kearns & her family in Hingham, Massachusetts. Mrs.Emerson was a member of the Ladies Guild of St.Paul's Catholic Parish in Hingham, MA. She died on a fall sunday morning of a heart attack & was buried next to her husband.
