Loving wife and mother, passed away on 28 December 2008. Born on the Rogers Ranch at Kyle, Texas on 18 September 1923, she was the first of three children born to Michael William and Bonnie Lee Maxwell Rogers. Brother Eugene Maxwell was born in 1927 and sister Betty Jayne in 1934. The family moved to Austin where Josephine graduated from Austin High School and then attended the University of Texas where she met Brennon Robert Hatley. They married on 27 February 1944. Following her husband's Naval service in the Pacific Theater during WWII, he finished his degree and the couple moved to Dallas and raised a family. As a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, she delivered Meals on Wheels and was active with the Plaid Door consignment shop there for over forty years. She is survived by her four sons: Philip, Mark, Christopher, and Paul and six grandchildren.
