I was the Johnson's Island Union Soldiers Burial Plot. I was at "the South West end of the Island, South West of the former site of the U.S. General Hospital" I held 11 Union Soldiers.

I was moved to Sandusky because Mr. Johnson wanted to sell me for lots for vineyards. I am listed on pgs 81-83 of the Book of the Union Dead, along with the single grave of Joseph J Hilton, August 19, 1863,"North of the large Redoubt, near the center of the Island"
