Born in Ireland. Enlisted on the 4th day of January 1864 and was honorably discharged April 28th 1865 by reason of expiration of service. He joined this Post No. 145 Mar 23rd, 1883. He died March 1st. 1884. Note: "But little is known of this comrad (sic) at this time (Feb 6th 1886). His is marked by Our Marker (???) as dead but this is diputed. Said to have died in Springfield Mo. -- Not Dead Since Learned"
