Canadian religious figure. Auxiliary bishop of Montréal. A native of Born Sainte-Geneviève (Québec), he was ordained Priest on December 23, 1899. On February 20, 1925, he was named titular bishop of Themesis and appointed auxiliary bishop of Montréal. Next April 21, he received his episcopal consecration. He resigned on June 23, 1940. He passed away in Montréal. His episcopate was the longest in the Canadian Catholic church history.
