Lena Mae Achord died Thursday, May 25, 1995, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 78, a native of Port Vincent and resident of Denham Springs.
Survived by six daughters, Lois Neal, Esther Watts, Shirley Hicks, Evelyn Simoneaux, Ouida Watts and Mary Bridges; three sons, Buddy, Marshall and Rodney Achord; five sisters, a brother, 23 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by husband, Percy Achord; a grandson, Mark Brian Achord; parents, Matt and Emma James; two brothers, and a sister.
She was a member of Plainview Baptist Church and Foster Grandparents Organization.
