ADKINS, Corene (Alene), exited this life on October 22, 1997 at the age of 82. She was born April 14, 1915 at Mill Creek, Oklahoma to Varney T. and Mary Lawrence. She lived many years in the Edmond/Witcher area before moving to OKC in 1981. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Adkins, and 4 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by her son, Bobby R. Adkins and his wife, Ruth, of OKC; granddaughter Ardyth Burger and 2 great grandchildren of Ivesdale, IL; 6 sisters, and 4 brothers.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, October 25, 1997 at Kolb Cemetery, Northeast 36th and Midwest Blvd, Spencer, Oklahoma. Casket will be open for visitation at the funeral home prior to the funeral, but will not be open for the service.
