Janice K. Adams, age 87, of Sheffield, Ala., died Tuesday, July 4, 2006. Visitation will be Friday, July 7, 2006, from 6-8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, of Tuscumbia. Her funeral service will be Saturday, July 8, 2006, at 2 p.m. in the sanctuary of First United Methodist Church, of Sheffield. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, of Tuscumbia. Bill Bedsole will officiate.
Mrs. Adams was a native of Tuscumbia and a member of First United Methodist Church, of Sheffield, and the Rivermont Garden Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wiley S. Adams Jr.
She is survived by her son, Mitchell Adams; daughter, Rebecca A. Meehan; and her sister, Christine Reid.
