Charcoal came to live with us at 29th and Washington in June of 1994. From the first day he was with us we knew that he was very special. His life was in slow motion, nothing bothered him or escaped his attention. This led to his lofty position as the "King of Beast." He is survived by three brothers; Sparky (The Black Cat), Pugger and Mason Adams and four sisters; Reese, Patch, Sweet P. and Ocho Adams. He was preceeded in death by one sister; Tigger Adams (1980-1996) and one brother; Dexter "Doodle" Adams (1992-2002). Charcoal's unique personality provided us with many hours of entertainment. He will be missed as a member of our family.

For the record: Charcoal never caught a mouse, and for that matter, anything else, in his life. When his assocates caught mice and would show them to him, he would take no interest what so ever. He would look at them as if to say "what do you want me to do with that!"

Cause of death: complications from diabetes
