Born c.1721, John Abrell died at the age of 40 in January 1762. Six young children born to John and his wife, Ann, are also interred in this plot, although his gravestone states their number as "5", including "2" boys and "3" girls. (A sixth child and third daughter, Elizabeth, had been born shortly before his death, but died at the age of 11 months before the year had ended. Although she, too, is named on the gravestone, the first part of the inscription may have been engraved earlier.)
