RANCHO CORDOVA - A 41-year-old Tuolumne County man died Tuesday morning after being hit by an earth-moving vehicle on a construction site about a mile south of Kilgore Road and International Drive, Sacramento County coroner's officials said.
The death of Thomas Aldrich of Exeter was not deemed suspicious by sheriff's officials, and Cal-OSHA investigators are pursuing their own case, sheriff's spokesman Sgt. R.L. Davis said.
Officials said the call was received about 6:15 a.m., and Aldrich was pronounced dead on the scene.
