83, is rejoicing right now with his beloved wife Betty and his dear daughter Carol Ann as of October 8th, 2004. He is greatly missed by his four children, James, Jr., Erick, Laura, and Jeff, seven grandchildren Arianna, Stephanie, Kristen, Stephanie, Michael, Erika, Benjamin and four great grandchildren Daniel, Monica, Alex and Tyler. Jim married Betty Jane Broman on February 1, 1945 in Minneapolis, Minnnesota. Throughout their 51 years of marriage they were stationed in various states when they finally came to settle in Sacramento in 1963. Jim leaving his home state of West Virginia enlisted in the armed services when he was just 17 years old, where he proceeded to make his 30 year career. He served in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. After his retirement he worked another 10 years for the Roseville School District. Jim was a member of the Roseville Moose Lodge, Veterans of Foreign Wars lodge in Citrus Heights and Advent Lutheran Church. We now share him with God and it is this family's hope that friends will attend a celebration of life for this beloved man who will be dearly missed on October 20th, 10am at Mount Vernon Memorial Park, 8201 Greenback Lane, Fair Oaks, CA.
