After WW2 Otto obtained for a Ham Radio License and became the Official Callsign DL3EAW.
Otto was very often a Guest in the weekly Wireless Round Table on Sundaymorning of the "MF RUNDE",a German Society of Hamming,former Navy Wireless Operators.
Otto never served in the German Navy,but because He was so very oft a very symphatic"Welcome Guest"in the Round Table, was He accepted for a Guest Membership and became the Membership #360.
Otto died in His Hometown VIERSEN in GERMANY on January 19th.2001 and is Cremated in the Crematory in Viersen.
