Joseph Buehler, 72, passed away July 9 following an illness of several months. He was born in Fairfax, Minn., April 19, 1884 and married the former Frances Freeman in Windsor Canada in 1913. He spent 25 years on the Detroit Police Force and retired twelve years ago when he came to Gladwin.
Surviving are his wife, Frances; one son Earl Esilene, of Gladwin; one daughter, Mrs. Alice Kruse of Midland; two brothers, Frank of Midland and Albert of Bay City. Funeral services were held Thursday, July 12, at 2 p.m. at Hall Funeral Home with the Rev. Truman S. Lowell officiating. Burial was in Ridge cemetery.
