Grace E. Cady, 68, of 5008 Russell St., Midland, died Thursday, July 14, at her home. Born in Butman Township on December 21, 1914, she was a school teacher.
The former Grace Ritchie, she was married to David Cady on June 12, 1939, in Fargo, N.D. Besides her husband, she is survived by a sister, Mrs. Marie Kobel of Torch River.
Rites were held Saturday at 1 p.m. from the Ware-Smith Funeral Home in Midland. The Rev. Ira Bush officiated and burial was in the Highland Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Michigan Heart Association. Gladwin County Record dated 7-20/1983 Column - 3 Page - 2.
