Ralph O. Blake, 72, of Gladwin, died Monday, Oct. 20, 1997 at MidMichigan Regional Medical Center-Gladwin after a short illness.
Born July 22, 1926 in Gladwin County, he lived here his entire life.
Ralph married the former Edna Entrekin, July 28, 1945 in Gladwin. He had been employed by Clear Lake Ranch in Roscommon, retiring in 1987.
Besides his wife he is survived by one daughter, Kathy Bailey of Gladwin; one sister, Dorothy Good of Burton; three grandchildren, Kevin, Marty and Troy Bailey; three great-grandchildren, Kimmy, Billy and Santana Bailey; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, John Blake; and two sisters, Mae Riley and Bessie Schuler.
Services were held at 11 a.m. Friday at Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin Chapel with Rev. Robert Marshall officiating. Burial was in Butman Cemetery in Gladwin. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the donor's favorite charity. Gladwin County Record dated 10-29/1997
