Charlotte (Major) Abercrombie, 79, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Pleasant Hills, died Dec. 29, 2008.
She was the wife of the late James Robert Abercrombie; mother of Patricia (Tom) Jarusinski, James (Sharon) Abercrombie and Charles "Ed" (Catherine) Abercrombie; grandmother of David Jarusinski, Matthew Jarusinski, Sara Smith, Brian Abercrombie and Bryce Abercrombie; great-grandmother of Asha, Adin, Caleb, Siena and Tyrle; and sister of the late Betty Galvin, Giner Smith and William Major.
Friends were received at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Inc., Pleasant Hills, where a service was held. Interment was at Jefferson Memorial Park.
