Bud "B.J." Abrams, who worked for 25 years as a service man with Mobile Gas , died Aug. 24. He was 56.
A native of Clarke County, he was a resident of Eight Mile.
He was a 1970 graduate of Mattie T. Blount High School.
Survivors include his wife, Rosie abrams of Eight Mile; four children, Jermaine Abrams, Courtney Adams,Robert Mitchell and Jermaine Williams of Kalamazoo, Mich., Johnny Pruitt, Martha Rainey, William Abrams, Rosemary Samuels, Dorothy Abrams of Bridgeport, Conn., and Alvin Abrams of Salt Lake City; and nine grandchildren.
Viewing will be from 1 to 8 p.m. today at Small's Mortuary on South Broad Street. Viewing will be Saturday from 9 a.m. untill the 11 a.m. funeral at Blooming Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be at Whispering Pines Cemetery.
