Mrs. Maudie Alexander, wife of Herbert Alexander, died at their home on Route 2, Oneonta, last Saturday. Mrs. Alexander was 23 years of age and was a member of the Baptist church. he is survived by her husband, her father, S.P. Casey of Route 2, Oneonta; two brothers, Grady and Howard Casey of Route 2, Oneonta; three sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Davis, Mrs. Essie Sims and Miss Ruby Casey. The funeral services were held at Antioch Cemetery Sunday and were conducted by Rev. Sam Miller of Horton, assisted by Rev. Earl Battles of Tait's Gap.
