Fred and I were very close. Going to school with him and hanging around with him and his sister Bobbi Jo Moscato left me with nothing but fond memories. I could always count on Fred being there when needed. I always said that there was never a nicer guy then Fred. He was truly one of those fellows that would give you his last dollar or the shirt off his back. I can remember when he would pull up out in front of the house my dad would yell "Hey! Fred's here!". Dad would always tell him to have a seat and chat for while. We all loved Fred and he is greatly missed.

Tragically while riding his motorcycle, Fred was struck by a person whom ran a red light at an intersection. Alcohol was believed to be involved on the part of the person who was driving the other vehicle but no charges were ever filed.
