She was the daughter of John Wesley and Anise Wertman Stillwagon, born April 4, 1885 in Ashland County.
She was married to LeRoy Gongwer who preceded her in death in 1954.
Mrs. Gongwer is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ira (Dorothy) Sutherland of New London and Mrs. Joe (Alice) Davis of Ashland, two sons, W. Russell Gongwer of Columbus and A. Richard Gongwer of Denver, Colo. one sister, Mabel Jones of Ashland, 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and the Ida Workman Sunday School Class.
Funeral service will be Monday at 3 pm at the Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Robert Kinsey officiating.
