ARTT, JANET CATHERINE; of White Lake Twp.; died Tuesday, May 8, 2012; at the age of 93. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Ernest Artt. Loving mother of 7 children, Catherine Fish (Jim), Ernest Artt (Frances), Steven Artt (Michele), Nancy Mitchell (Albert), Marilyn Wozniak (Michael), Douglas Artt (Diane), Evelyn Brenner (Gordon); loving Nana of 15 grandchildren; great grandmother of 8. Janet "Netta" was born in Fraserburgh, Scotland and immigrated to Detroit at age 5 with her family. She loved her vegetable gardening and baking plum pudding, scotch shortbread at Christmas for family. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family and talking daily to her friends, Thelma and Ann. A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 11 a.m. at St Patrick's Church, 9086 Hutchins, White Lake Twp. 48386.
