Tommie M. Abram, age 85, a resident of Abilene for over fifty years, passed away Friday, July 19, 2014, in Abilene.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in North's Memorial Chapel in Abilene. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in North's Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Malcom Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Abilene Municipal Cemetery.
Tommie was born in Childress, Texas on February 17, 1929 to Fayet and Frances Moore. On March 14, 1957 she married Tommy T. Abram, in Childress, and they had been married fifty-seven years.
Tommie worked in the Engineering Department for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for thirty-six years. Since her retirement,she was involved in property management with her husband, Tommy, "Tom". She was a member of Elmwood Baptist Church in Abilene for over forty years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and three sisters.
Survivors include her husband, Tommy "Tom" Abram, and a daughter, Robbin Caldwell, and a grandson, Briley Christian Caldwell, of Abilene. Other survivors include the following: Colleen West of Plainview, Ludie "Dudie" Stone of Amarillo and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be dearly missed.
