A resident of St. Gabriel, he died at 4 a.m. Tuesday, December 7, 2010. He was 81. Visiting at St. Gabriel Catholic Church on Tuesday, December 14, from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m.
Survived by five daughters and three sons-in-law, Lois and Louis Mitchell, Michelle and O.J. Celestine, Trynette and Dexter Clark, Margaret Ambeau and Sharon Ambeau; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Louis and Linda Ambeau, Louis John Ambeau and Wilbert Ambeau; 24 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
