Services held Tuesday, June 1, 1976 at 11:00 a.m., Jerusalem Church of God in Christ, Fresno, California. Elder Samuel Bailey, Officiating.

Mr. Joe Anderson was born January 4, 1910 in Houston, Texas to Peter and Delila Anderson. He departed this life May 26, 1976 at the age of 66 in Fresno, California. He had been a resident of Fresno for the past 18 years. He was a member of the Jerusalem Church of God in Christ.

He leaves behind freed from grief and years, for more worthier things than tears, the love of friends and loved ones. They will lay him beneath a bank of flowers; care, untroubled; joy, surrounded sweetly sleeping, awaiting the resurrection morning.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lucille Anderson of Fresno, and two sisters: Mrs. Delila Anderson of Houston Texas and Mrs. Arizona Folward, also of Houston, Texas.

Work and pray, 'til Jesus comes for us. Then with joy we will meet our loved ones, when the Lord shall come again.

Arrangements entrusted to the care of Jesse E. Cooley, Jr. Funeral Service, 1830 South Fruit Avenue, Fresno, California.
