Janice Lorene Roberts, 70
Posted: Tuesday, Mar 5th, 2013

Janice Lorene Roberts was born on July 21, 1942, to Raymond and Nina Roberts.

Janice is survived by her loving daughter, Dianna McCarthy; son-in-law, Dino; three grandchildren, Julie, Ryan and Steven, her loving companion, Jim DeVaney; and their little dog, Po. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Chuck.

She leaves behind many, many friends — some of those friendships began in her early childhood and have continued through her entire life — and those friends that she has made along life's journey. To Jan, a friend was a friend. Jan was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and friend.

She touched the hearts of everyone she met and left an impression that would not soon be forgotten. Her witty sense of humor and spunky attitude were infectious, and you couldn't help but smile when she was in your presence.

Janice will continue to live in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Memorial services were held Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Lamont Mortuary Chapel.

Assisting the family; Lamont Mortuary of Globe.
