From Newspaper: Jerry Mack "Fossil" Musgrave; lifelong resident of Miami. Fossil loved to participate in many celebrations in the area. He was Santa for many years for the Moose and the town. He participated in the Town of Miami parades and the functions at the park. His favorite song was Mustang Sally and loved to dance to it. Fossil was outgoing and friendly, you never knew what was going to come out of his mouth next. We, as a family, will miss him deeply and dearly. Fossil was a member of the Church of Christ, member of Loyal Order of Moose, and a former councilman for the Town of miami. Fossil was also a track official of Globe-Miami Speedway from '70's to the close of the track. Survived locally by brothers David and Terry Asberry; sisters, Judy (Ernie) Jaurigui, Linda (Scott) Barrett, and Diedra Stevenson. He was preceded in death by parents; John and Patsy Asberry. Family assisted by Bulman Miles Funeral Home services, Globe. Graveside services at Globe Cemetery at 11am on October 25, 2014.
