Julius Melvin "Al" Allen, 94, of Rogers, passed away at his
home February 5, 2014. He was born December 1, 1919 in
Fayetteville, AR to Lucius Arthur and Rena Kathryn Allen.
Al served in the Navy during WWII, and then retired from the
Air Force as a Chief Master Sergeant after fighting in both the Korean and Vietnam War. He was a Shriner.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Allen in 2010;
his parents; one brother, Herbert Allen; and two sisters, Laura Allen and Jacqueline Allen.
Al is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2:00PM until 4:00PM Sunday,
February 9, 2014 at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services of
Rogers.
Graveside services will be at 11:00AM, Monday, Feb. 10,
2014 at the National Cemetery, Fayetteville, AR with full
military honors.
