Hazel Collins Anderson, 78, of 23 Berry St. and formerly of Earlville, died Friday at Chenango Memorial Hospital. A native of Earlville, Mrs. Anderson moved to Norwich in 1977. Her husband, Carl Oscar Anderson, died on April 23. Mrs. Anderson was a charter member of the United Methodist Church of Sherburne. Surviving are a daughter, Fran Tessier of Norwich; six sisters, Helen Scott of Binghamton, Evelyn Foster, Genevieve Fisher, Eleanor Johnson and Marion Fay, all of Earlville, and Lillian Edson of Sherrill; two granchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be at 1 pm Sunday at Fahy Funeral Home, Norwich, the Rev. Stephen Heiss officiating. Burial will be in Graham Cemetery, Hubbardsville. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm today at the funeral home, 116 N Broad St. Contributions may be made to the Broad Street United Methodist Church, Norwich, or another charity.
