John C. was born in Darmstadt,Germany and came to the U.S. ca. 1852.

Full name was John Caspar Biebigheiser. Originally Johann Kaspar Bibighäuser but was changed after he came to the United States.
He had a brother Johann Jost who changed his name to Joseph Beebehyser. Joseph went "out west" to Michigan.

Married 1st to Catharine Oathout and 2nd to Mary (Lance) Apgar.
