George BeVier, 62, of Paris died Monday, April 29, 2013, at his residence.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at McEvoy Funeral Home.
Robert Copeland from Mount Zion Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery in Puryear.
Chosen as pallbearers are Paul Neal, Billy Dale Clayton, David Alsup, Michael Plano, Jimmy Tubbs and Alan Knowles.
Visitation will be 3-6 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday.
Born in Michigan on June 11, 1950, he was a son of the late George and Ruth Shockey BeVier.
His wife, Renda Sue Rogers BeVier, died Sept. 13, 1996. They were married in 1971.
A family member said BeVier was a loving father and he loved to fish.
He leaves two sons: Dean BeVier of Cottage Grove and Dale BeVier and fiancee Heather Hanifan of Paris; two sisters: Ruth Ann Nelson of Arizona and Evelyn BeVier of Michigan; three brothers: Curt BeVier of Florida, Duane BeVier of Michigan and Carl BeVier of Wyoming; and one grandchild: Destiny Grace BeVier.
