KENNETH A. BARONIAN, (MSGT. RIANG, RET.) "KENNY", 82, of Providence, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2013. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Hagop and Anna (Barmasian) Baronian.
Kenny was a Master Sergeant and served in the RI Army National Guard for 29 years before retiring. He was an active member at Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church in Providence where he served on the Board of Trustees; a member of the Armenian Martyrs' Memorial Committee; a member of the Armenian National Committee of RI; and was past National President of the Armenian Youth Federation of America. Kenny was also a Master Mason of Overseas Lodge No. 40, F. & A.M. in Cranston; a member of the Armenian Masonic Degree Team; and a member of American Legion Post 35 in Providence.
He leaves his loving family, Gail Rodrigues, Brenda Silva and Kimberly Garcia, all of Warwick, Denise Levasseur of Coventry, Gary Zorabedian of Providence and the late Frank Zorabedian Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Friday at 11 a.m. in Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, Providence, followed by interment with military honors at North Burial Ground, Providence. VISITING HOURS are Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Sts. Vartanantz Church, 402 Broadway, Providence, RI 02909.
