Alvin Clark, age 97, died Tuesday, Oct. 18, 1941, at the residence 2406 Davison Rd. Funeral services will be held 2 pm Thursday, Oct. 30, 1941 from the McCormick & Conlee Chapel in Clio, Rev. Earnest Robinson officiating. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Clio. Death was caused by senility after an illness of 5 days.

He was born in Mannsville, New York, August 18, 1844, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Clark, and had spent most of his life in Saginaw and Genesee counties.

Surviving are the wife; 2 sons, Laverne and Russel of Flint; 10 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren.
