Mary Louise Akers, 85 of the New Hope Road, Princeton died Thursday, December 3, 2009 at the Princeton Community Hospital.

She was born in Smokeless July 25, 1924, to William and Goldie Spangler Combs.

She had a strong faith and loved reading her Bible daily and she also enjoyed spending time with her family. She was of the Protestant faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clarence W. Akers, one daughter Pauline Akers, one great grandson Mitchell Wayne Johnson, one sister, Katherine Shrewsbury and six brothers, Lawrence, William, Oscar, Alonzo, David and Cecil Combs.
