Anna M., wife of Harry J. Weidenhammer, 2164 Kutztown Road, died late Wednesday afternoon at Homeopathic Hospital from the result of burns received not after she had ignited a pile of dry leaves in front of her home Tuesday morning. Deceased was an active member of Alace Lutheran Church and was well known in the vicinity in which she lived. At about 10 o'clock Tuesday morning Mrs. Weidenhammer swept up a pile of leaves which she
decided to burn in order to prevent them from being scattered by the wind over her premises. A moment after she applied a match a gust of wind blew the flaming leaves in all directions. At the time deceased was standing close to the burning pile.
Besides her husband three children remain: Emma, aged 10 years; Anna aged 8 years, and Paul, aged 3 years. Her mother, Mrs. Marie Geiger: a brother, George Geiger, and three sisters, Mrs. John Seaman, Hyde Park; Mrs. John Kissinger and Susan Geiger, Reading, survive.
