Eunice L. Altman, 71, of Davenport, died Monday, July 3, 2006, at Davenport Good Samaritan Center after a brief illness.

Eunice was born Jan. 19, 1935, in Davenport, daughter of Waldo and Elverna Sodergn Edens. She was united in marriage to Herbert J. Altman Dec. 13, 1975, in Davenport. He preceded her in death Jan. 13, 1986.
Prior to her retirement in 1995, she was a custodian in the Davenport School System for 10 years.
She was an avid reader and enjoyed attending family gatherings.
Survivors include her stepchildren, nieces and nephews.
