James Lewis McMahon was oldest son of Curley Lee McMahon and Mahala Lee Chapman McMahon. He was injured by fire in an accident in their home and died of pneumonia several days later as an infant child. He was survived by his parents, his Brother Joseph Lee McMahon and a sister Alma Louise McMahon. (This infant child is actually buried in the City Cemetery at Kirvin, Texas but the grave was "lost" over the years and could not be located; his memorial marker is located in the McMahon Plot in Driver Cemetery with other family members)
