Gretel was diagnosed with cancer of her right rear leg and hip in June 2011 and, after further tests, given only six to 12 weeks to live. She lived another 37 weeks exactly and died suddenly and quickly with Geoffrey and Chuck by her side and, fortunately, without having suffered many of the effects of sarcoma.
She will always be remembered as simply the sweetest and most loving and loyal dog anyone could ever know. We miss her every day.
