Services for Verner E. Adams, 97, a Geneva resident for 10 years, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave., Painesville.
Mr. Adams died Sunday at the Northeastern Ohio General Hospital in Madison after a brief illness.
A farmer all his life, Mr. Adams is a former 22-year resident of Virginia. Previously, he lived in Leroy Township for many years.
He was born May 10, 1889 in Sylvester, Michigan, a son of Delmar C. and Mary Kempton Adams.
His wife, Mary J. Whipple Adams, died in 1979 and his son, Vern, died in 1982.
