On 1/10/1836 in Boston, MA m: MARY REBECCA (BOWDLEAR), b.1814, Roxbury, MA, a daughter of JOHN A. BOWDLEAR and MARY ANN (TRASK) of Roxbury, MA, with whom he had children. After Mary's death, in 1881 Charles second married CATHERINE PAINE (CLARK).
