James Scott Bowers, 49, died Thursday, August 8, 2013.
Born April 16, 1964 in Greenville, he was a son of Charlotte Moser Bowers Clark and the late James Gresham Bowers.
Mr. Bowers was retired from B&B Pools. He enjoyed music and was a prior member of the NBC Band.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are a sister, Leisa Arlene Bowers of Duncan; a brother, Jerry Bowers (Donna) of Simpsonville; a niece, McKenzie Bowers; numerous cousins; two aunts, Pat McClain and Helen Moon (Robert); and his extended B&B Pools family.
Visitation will be held Saturday, August 10, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The funeral service will be held Sunday, August 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Downtown Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
The family will be at the home of his brother.
