Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 15, 1998 at the Eastway Drive Church of God with the Reverend Dr. Bobby Ross and Reverend Doug Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Sharon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, 1998 at the McEwen Funeral Service Mint Hill Chapel.
He attended Eastway Drive Church of God, was owner and operator of Todds Landscaping Company and was an employee of Charlotte Vending Service and Piedmont Vending Company and was a graduate of Garringer High School.
Survivors include his parents, Jimmy and Helen Blakely of Charlotte; sisters, Rhonda McDaniel and husband, Tim of Kannapolis, NC, Tammy Bagley and husband, David of Mint Hill, NC; niece, Nicole McDaniel of Kannapolis, NC; grandmother, Eleanor Blakely of Jackson Springs, NC.
