Marilyn "Kay" Allison, 57, of 2003 Sabbath Drive died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 1993, at the University Hospital in Iowa City, following an extended illness. Services will be Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday at the Riley Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the University of Iowa Transplant Support Group. Mrs. Allison was born on Jan. 4, 1936, in Cedar Valley, the daughter of Louis J. and Jean M. Kapfer Lamp. She was a Muscatine resident for most of her life. The former Marilyn Katheryn Lamp married Raymond Eugene Allison on July 6, 1953, in Muscatine. She is survived by her husband, Raymond; her three children, Mrs. Tim (Alexis Jayne) Warren of Wilton, and Andrew Wayne Allison and Matthew Scott Allison, both of Muscatine; her mother Jean M. Fox of Muscatine; one brother, John A. Fox of Muscatine; two sisters, Mrs. John (Lujean) King of Oskaloosa, and Mrs. Ken (Susan) Lassila of Ames; five grandchildren, Alison Brunson, Adrian Brunson, Jacob Allison, Mikes Allison and Paige Allison. She was preceded in death by her father.
