Elizabeth L. Adams, 83, Speedway, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2008. She was a graduate of Vevay High School. She was a homemaker and also a cafeteria worker at North Central High School and L.S. Ayres. She was a member of Speedway Nazarene Church and the Garden Club. Husband, Woody Adams Sr., brother, J.W. Manuel and sister, Mabel Adams preceded her in death. Survivors include sons, Woody Jr. (and his wife, Diana) and Jerry (and his wife, Allene) Adams; grandchildren, Laura, Stephen, Stephanie, Dawn, David and Danny; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and brothers, Linnie and Chuck Manuel. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m., Sunday, April 13 at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center-Speedway. Services will be at 10 a.m., Monday, April 14 at the funeral center. Burial will follow at Lincoln Memory Gardens.
