The Klamath Republic, January 16, 1902

Mrs. Florence Bradley, wife of George Washington Bradley, died at her home in Klamath Falls, Saturday evening at 6:30 o'clock being aged 21 years and 2 months. Mrs. Bradley had been suffering a year from an abcess of the brain which finally caused her death. Her husband and two sisters were at her bedside when the end came. The funeral took place Monday afternoon under direction of Daughters of Rebekah and were attended by a large crowd of sympathizing friends. Besides two sisters; Misses Addie and Minnie Dexter, who had been in attendance several months, two brothers William and George Dexter were present for the funeral service.
Mrs. Bradley leaves a husband and an infant child at this place and her father and mother, three sisters and two brothers living in Siskiyou county. The little motherless child has been taken in charge and will be raised by Miss Addie Dexter. The surviving relatives have the sincere sympathy of this community.
Mrs. Bradley was born in Shasta County, Calif., but spent most of her life in Siskiyou County. She married George W. Bradley July 1, 1900. During her residence here, she had won many warm friends by whom her untimely death is keenly regretted. There is no sadder death than that of a young mother who, but a short time since, entered a sphere of enlarged usefulness and responsibility and endearment.
